Monday, October 28th is the 50th Day of school! To celebrate, all students in K-5th grade can pay $1 to dress up like they are from the 1950s. All proceeds go to support Relay for Life. Roll up those jeans, pull out those cardigans and letter jackets, slick back your hair or put it up in a ponytail and join us in Dressing Like the 50s! Here are our 5th grade teachers demonstrating the look last year.
Tuesday, October 29th is Mix it Up Day for the 4th and 5th graders at LES. 4th and 5th grade students should mix up their usual clothing on Mix It Up Day (inside out, backwards, mismatched). No costumes or hats are allowed. Students will be encouraged to sit with someone at lunch that they don’t know or don’t know well. Student Council members (with help from Mrs. Grahn, Guidance Counselor) are working on get to know you questions to talk about during music-free lunch.
No costumes or hats are allowed on these two days or the remainder of the week. Thanks!
