Savannah River Ecology Laboratory visited LES

SAM_2669Mr. Sean Poppy with the Outreach Program at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory visited LES on Wednesday, April 2nd. He gave two presentations with live animals native to SC (primarily amphibians and reptiles). With the animals as models, he talked about the characteristics, adaptations, predator-prey interactions, and habitats of the green tree frog, glass lizard, spotted salamander, box and snapping turtles, rat and king snakes, alligator and a coyote named Scooter.
