All for Books Monster Makeover

Mrs. Prezzy Monster Makeover (1) (2)Scholastic Book Fair has a fundraising project called “All for Books”.  The funds raised through “All for Books” are used to help students that don’t have quite enough money to buy books or to buy books that are given to students that are unable to purchase books of their own.  Each school can determine what their funds are used for and how they want to promote their fundraiser.

This year, we had students vote for which administrator they wanted to receive a “Monster Makeover” by placing change in either Mrs. Wallace’s box, Mr. Hamby’s box or Mrs. Prezzy’s box.  It was a close competition, but Mrs. Prezzy won by $1.28!

So on Tuesday, October 20th, on the LES Live News Show, Mrs. Prezzy appeared, to make the announcements, as Prezzystein!  Our own Mrs. Clark, RTI Lead Interventionist, did her monster makeover and transformed her into a beautiful monster.  Prezzystein then visited many classrooms throughout the morning!

Susan DuBose, media specialist, said, “I am so proud of my administration who are  willing to do almost anything for our students, even become a monster! “
