Red Ribbon Week Activities, October 22nd-October 25th

LES will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week, October 22nd – October 25th.  

The Red Ribbon Campaign® is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching millions of young people during Red Ribbon Week®, October 23rd – October 31st each year. At Lexington Elementary , we emphasize prevention education and encourage students to make healthy choices everyday.  We will provide daily announcements to educate students on the meaning of celebrating Red Ribbon Week.

Magical Monday – Oct. 22nd: Wear your Disney themed attire (example: Star War or Princess Shirt)

Teamwork Tuesday – Oct. 23rd: Wear your LES spirit wear, favorite high school, college, or professional team jersey.

Wildlife Wednesday – Oct. 24th: Wear camouflage and/or bring a stuffed animal.

Throwback Thursday – Oct. 25th: Dress from another decade, (example:  50’s poodle skirt, 60’s tie-dye & peace signs).

Follow Your Dreams Friday – Oct. 26th: Wear your PJ’s, and please make sure they are school dress code appropriate!
