CELEBRATING SCHOOL LIBRARY MONTH!
Every week in April we will have a book recommendation on the LES LIVE News Show! Books will be in the Learning Commons for checkout!
April 4th – National School Librarian Day
April 8-12, we will celebrate National Library Week by hosting the Bedford Falls Book Fair!
We will be open Monday – Wednesday, 7:15am – 2:30pm, Thursday, 7:15am – 5:45pm, (we’ll close before the Spring Concert) and Friday, 7:15am – 12:00pm.
April 9th – National Library Workers’ Day – find Mrs. DuBose or Ms. Bach, thank them and get a special bookmark!
April 12th- Drawing of a book prize, based on game during the book fair! Must stop in to be entered!
April 15-19 – Spring Break – read as many books as you can! Fill in a reading log bookmark and turn it in, in the Learning Commons, for a chance to win a drawing!
April 23rd – Kick off the Blowfish Reading Program!! 4 weeks to read 4 books to earn 2 tickets, a reading parade, a Blowie Snowie Shaved Ice and one free game of speed pitch! Reading logs will remain in the classroom and ticket vouchers will come home in student report cards. Our LES game night is Friday, July 19th at 7:05pm. The game will be followed by reworks!
April 23rd – Culminating Event, Literacy Character Parade at 8am! Dress as your favorite book character, but remember you still need to abide by the school dress code!
