I'm excited to be a part of the LES Wildcat family! Before joining the Lexington One School District in 2023, I had the privilege of serving in many roles, including behavior interventionist, kindergarten and first grade teacher, Reading Recovery teacher, K–5 interventionist, literacy coach, instructional coach, TAP Master Teacher, and assistant principal for six years during which I earned the title of Assistant Principal of the Year for Beaufort County Schools.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from King’s College in Pennsylvania, followed by a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Literacy from Lesley University in Massachusetts. I also hold a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina and I've earned National Board Certification.
I’m a wife and proud mom to three amazing daughters—Sarah, Norah, and Lena. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering with the Girls Scouts, spending time outdoors and finding new ways to grow as a lifelong learner and educator.

I am honored to serve as the principal of Lexington Elementary School. I’ve spent my entire career in Lexington School District One, where I’ve had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles—from fifth-grade teacher, to teaching middle school science and social studies, coaching at both the middle and high school levels, and working as an assistant principal.
Education is a shared passion in my family—my wife is also a teacher, and we’re proud to be raising our two children in this incredible community. I am committed to creating a school environment where students feel welcomed, encouraged, and motivated to do their best. Guided by our values of collaboration, resilience, responsibility, and learning, our work focuses on helping students learn, grow, and excel while contributing in positive ways to their school and community.
Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, music, and all things sports. I’m grateful to be part of the Lexington Elementary family and look forward to all the limitless possibilities we can achieve together.

I am honored and humbled to serve the students, staff, and families of Lexington Elementary School as assistant principal. I joined the LES team in 2021. Prior to this role, I taught social studies at Pleasant Hill Middle School and Meadow Glen Middle School before serving as the Social Studies Coordinator for Lexington School District One.
Originally from North Augusta, South Carolina, I earned my bachelor’s degree in teacher education from Newberry College and a master’s degree in educational administration and supervision from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!). Over the years I have been honored with various recognitions including school and Lexington School District One teacher of the year, finalist for state teacher of the year for the state of SC, and, most recently, the Joseph M. Bedenbaugh Administrator of the Year award for Lexington School District One.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Blair, and our children, Gray and Holly. We love traveling to the mountains and the beach, going to the movies (specifically Marvel and Star Wars!), and attending our childrens' high school sporting events (baseball, football, volleyball, and softball). I consider it a blessing to work with the students and staff of LES each day!
